ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – Today’s 98.3 TRY social dilemma came from Bonnie and it’s about sofa blankets. Here is his email:
Hi Jaime. I keep arguing with my daughter and we decided to bring it to you. Whenever I visit her home, I use the blanket on the sofa to cover myself up because she keeps her house a bit cool in my opinion. I don’t mind until I recently found out that she hasn’t washed that blanket in at least six months. She told me it wasn’t necessary because it’s a “couch cover” and is only used when someone is watching TV or reading, and it’s over her clothes. I told him he needed to be washed at least once a week because of dry skin and dog hair and just plain old bacteria. She told me I was a neat freak. So what do you think? How often do you wash your “couch blanket”? Thank you I like.

Well, Bonnie and I are on this one together. I have a dog and two cats, so even though my couch covers are only used as Bonnie described, I still wash them once a week.
