Is this new mom horribly wasteful?

ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – Today’s 98.3 TRY social dilemma came from Karen. It’s about being a new mom. Here is his email.

Hi Jaime. First of all, I want to thank you for the Christmas music. We love it! Now I have a social dilemma. I am a new mom. My mother-in-law just left after helping with the baby for a few weeks, and she was shocked at how much I can waste. Things like me emptying a cold coffee maker to start a new one (why not microwave what’s left?” and me emptying what’s left of a bottle of wine after 3 days because it gone bad (I’m a featherweight now and can only handle a little wine, hence the leftovers in the bottle!) drove his bananas But the kicker? Baby had a major blowout and completely pooped all over her swaddle. So I threw the swaddle away. I have tons, and I didn’t like that one very much anyway, and she completely knocked her lid off. I feel like I should say she’s 75. I think that makes a difference. I think I’m just doing what everyone else is doing. But she thinks I’m horribly wasteful. I don’t think so, but I thought I could hear what the others think Thanks Jaime

Well, first off, congratulations to Karen on having a new baby! And second, I think Karen is wasting. I always microwave cold coffee. And I can’t imagine throwing clothes away because the baby pooped on them. When I was taking care of my nephew, I would have had to throw away a lot of clothes if I had done that.

Do you think Karen is okay, or is she wasting away like her stepmom thinks? Let’s help her and let me know TRY the Facebook page.
