The Truth Has a Voice Foundation (THAVF) has announced its upcoming civic engagement event: ”The social dilemma ” and the Social Media Impacts on Society ”, which will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 21 at the Salida SteamPlant Event Center.

“We live in a changing world in which technology is playing an increasingly important role,” says the press release from Truth Has a Voice. “To better understand the impact of social media on public trust in news, government and society at large, as well as the targeted business model behind them, join us for a presentation of The social dilemma.

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the documentary film which will be followed at 7:30 p.m. by a 45-minute roundtable on the local impacts of social media.
