Would you confront your neighbors if they stole your pizza?

ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – 98.3 TRY The social dilemma comes from Maureen, and it’s about neighbors.

Hi Jaime..my husband and I have a disagreement on how to handle something and we thought you might help. My neighbors and I currently have a friendly relationship – we don’t bother them, they don’t bother us. But they recently did something that I think is totally irrelevant and I’m wondering if I should call them about it. Last night I ordered a pizza and about half an hour later I received confirmation that it had been delivered, although I did not receive it. The restaurant apologized, said it must have been delivered to the wrong address, and refunded me. Well, this morning while I was taking out the trash, I noticed an empty pizza box in my neighbor’s trash can with my name on it. So basically they took my pizza and ate it, instead of doing the right thing and bringing it to me. I feel like I should confront them about the theft, but my husband thinks that will only stir things up and cause a war. What do you think I should do? I look forward to good advice. Thank you very much Jaime

~Maureen

I agree with Maureen on this. I would confront them. I wouldn’t be mean or mean about it, but I would at least ask the question, “hey did you get my pizza last night?” and see if they lie about it. I hope they will be clear, but you won’t know unless you ask. That’s what I would do.

And you? Do you agree with Maureen or do you think she should just let it go as her husband thinks. Let me know on the TRY the Facebook page.
